Check all that apply
External AC/DC Power Supply Provided for Testing?
Select “Yes” if the external AC/DC adapter or power supply normally used with the product will be provided with the test sample.
Enter the normal operating voltage or range (example: 120 VAC, 100–240 VAC, 24 VDC, 5 VDC).
For externally DC-powered products, list the DC input voltage(s) at which testing is required (for example: 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 12 VDC and 24 VDC). Enter “Not Applicable” if the product does not have an external DC input.
AC power configuration, if applicable
AC Power Frequency
Select all AC power frequencies at which the product must be tested. Select “Not Applicable” for products that are not AC powered.
Enter the maximum input current during normal operation. Include units (A or mA).
Enter the highest internal clock, oscillator, or digital switching frequency, if known. Include units (MHz or GHz). Enter “Unknown” if not known.
List each external cable/interface, its approximate length, and what it connects to. Examples: USB – 2 m to PC; Ethernet – 5 m to network switch; RS-485 – 10 m to controller; sensor cable – 4 m. If not applicable enter None.
Are any external signal, control, or communication cables longer than 3 meters?
List all support equipment, peripherals, simulators, computers, controllers, loads, power supplies, or other equipment required to place the product in its normal operating modes during testing. If none is required, enter “None.”
Will Radiometrics need to provide any support equipment or peripherals?
Identify any computers, monitors, loads, power supplies, cables, network equipment, simulators, or other equipment Radiometrics must provide.
List each operating mode that must be evaluated during testing (for example: standby, idle, transmit, receive, heating, cooling, motor operating, data transfer, or other normal operating states).
Enter the number of distinct operating modes that must be evaluated during testing.
List all external cables and interfaces used during normal operation. Include approximate cable lengths when known.
Enter the number of external interconnecting cables used during normal operation. Do not include the AC power cord.
Are any external signal, control, or communication cables longer than 3 meters?
List all equipment required to operate or exercise the product during testing, including computers, controllers, loads, simulators, power supplies, or other support equipment. If none, enter “None.”
Enter the number of separate support devices required to operate or exercise the product during testing. Enter 0 if none are required.
EUT Configuration*
Enter the approximate dimensions and include units (for example: 12 × 8 × 6 in.)
Enter the approximate weight and include units (for example: 25 lb)
Has this product undergone previous EMC testing?
Identify the standards tested, approximate test date, laboratory (if known), and whether the product passed or had known EMC issues.
Documentation Available
Enter the expected date the test sample and required support equipment will be available at Radiometrics.
Enter the date by which testing or certification must be completed, if applicable. Leave blank if there is no firm deadline.
Provide any special test conditions, customer-specific requirements, unusual operating conditions, or other information that may affect the test program or quotation.
